Virtual open days

We're running virtual Open Days throughout the year to give you an opportunity to find out more about Cardiff University and student life.

Our next virtual Open Day will take place on Wednesday 18 November 2020 from 16:00-19:00.

Book a place

Register for a place now to receive updates about the live talks, reminders before the event and information on how the day will run. After the Open Day event is finished, we’ll send you useful information specific to the subject area you’re interested in.

On the day

While you can browse our virtual Open Day pages all year round, during the Open Day itself, you'll get the chance to:

  • live chat with our staff, including Residences, Admissions and Student Support teams
  • live chat with academic staff and current students
  • watch live webinars and ask questions.

Before the Open Day, it might be helpful to order or download a copy of our prospectus.

Fairs and conventions

If you are unable to attend our virtual open days, there will still be opportunities to talk to us at virtual fairs and conventions.

Self-guided campus tour

Although we’re not running physical Open Days at the moment, you can use our self-guided campus tour to help you explore our Cathays Park campus, which is located just a few minutes' walk from Cardiff's city centre.

The tour lasts approximately one hour, but you can also take several optional detours, depending on what you'd like to visit.
