Campus tours

Take a student-led walking tour around the Cathays Park Campus. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

City tours

Take a free coach tour of the city centre and its sights. Each tour lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Please note, demand tends to be busier in the afternoon.

University accommodation

The following accommodation is available for you to visit.

Senghennydd Hall

  • 09:00 - 16:00 (last entry 15:45)
  • entrance is on Senghennydd Road

Talybont Court

  • the communal area of an accessible flat is available to view on request only. Please speak to a member of staff at the residence for further details

Talybont South

  • 09:30 - 16:00 (last entry 3.45pm)
  • allow at least 45 minutes for round trip, including viewing

  • 20 minutes’ walk from Main Building
  • shuttle bus available on Open Day

If you wish to attend any activities at our Heath Park Campus, we offer a free shuttle bus service. Allow approximately 60 minutes for travel and viewing.

University libraries

University libraries are located close to academic schools. We have a selection of libraries open for you to visit.

Cathays Park campus

Please note, libraries marked with an asterisk(*) are only open to visitors on Friday 1 July. However, staff from our libraries will be available on both Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July at the Open Day Exhibition.

University chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy team currently has Christian (Anglican, Methodist, Orthodox and Roman Catholic), Buddhist, Jewish and Muslim chaplains. We are here for everyone.

Members of the Chaplaincy team will be available throughout the open days to chat with prospective students and their families on faith and the university experience.
