Disability advice

We aim to provide an accessible environment for all applicants, students and visitors.

If you, or any member of your party have special requirements that arise as a result of a disability, medical condition or specific learning difficulty, please contact our Student Disability Service so that appropriate arrangements can be made prior to your visit.

Travel

There is limited parking in the university's Bute Building Car Park for visitors with mobility difficulties. Please email openday@cardiff.ac.uk in advance with your name, vehicle registration number and contact number if you wish to make use of this. Visitors should approach the university along King Edward VII Avenue to gain access to the car park.

If you are travelling to Cardiff by train or coach and would like a taxi for onward travel to the university, there is a list of local taxi companies.

You may wish to look at the campus accessibility information so that you can plan your route around the university buildings in advance.

On the day

Staff from our Student Disability Service will be available to offer information and advice from 09:00 - 16:00 in the Centre for Student Life.

Accessible transport will also be available on the day. Please call 07812 738578 to access this service from anywhere on campus. In addition, a small number of wheelchairs will be available from Main Building.
