We welcome applications from industry professionals who wish to study one or more modules from our postgraduate taught programmes.
These modules are aimed at graduates or experienced practitioners who are interested in continuing their professional development (CPD) in the areas of biocatalysis and computational chemistry.
This approach to study is suitable for applicants who wish to further their workplace development and career and who are happy to study alongside our full-programme MSc students.
On completion, Cardiff University will award successful students a transcript of their postgraduate credits which could be used as evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) for professional body membership. It may also be possible to put the credits towards a postgraduate qualification in a related subject - please contact us for details.
We have chosen not to advertise specific modules but instead we would be pleased to discuss your learning requirements on an individual basis. To help direct your enquiries we have provided below a flavour of the topics that we currently offer at postgraduate taught level:
- Heterogeneous catalysis
- Industrial heterogeneous catalysis
- Homogeneous catalysis
- Catalyst design
- Bioinorganic Chemistry
- Molecular Modelling
- Drug development
- Drug discovery
- Medicinal chemistry
- Retrosynthetic analysis
