Master’s Excellence Scholarships

This scholarship scheme supports UK students in funding postgraduate study. Each scholarship is worth a £3,000 tuition fee discount.

Whether you choose to live in a university residence or private accommodation, we want you to feel at home here.

International (not including EU, EEA or Swiss national) postgraduate students are guaranteed a single occupancy place in university residences for the full duration of your studies (term and conditions apply). If you're a UK student, university accommodation is not guaranteed but may still be available.

Alongside your main degree programme, you can take one of our free Languages for All courses in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. If you'd like to learn Welsh, you can sign up for our free Welsh for All course, which also fits around your academic commitments.

All levels are catered for, from complete beginners to advanced.
