MBA Public Value Scholarships

Our MBA Public Value Scholarship scheme recognises high-quality candidates who share our Public Value ethos and ambitions and want to take the next step in their career by studying for their MBA at Cardiff Business School.

Scholarships of £7,500 are available to applicants who successfully progress through the admissions process and enrol as a student on any of our MBA programmes. We will inform you of your eligibility for a Scholarship when we make you an offer for study with us. Scholarships will be applied as a tuition fee discount when you enrol.

How to apply

No separate scholarship application is required. We will assess your suitability for a Public Value Scholarship as part of the MBA admissions process.

Terms and conditions

The following full terms and conditions apply for this scholarship:

  1. The MBA Public Value Scholarship is available to applicants who meet the terms of their offer and enrol on any Cardiff University MBA programmes.
  1. The scholarship is worth £7,500 and will be awarded in the form of an automatic tuition fee discount. It cannot be used in place of any required deposit. No cash alternative is available.
  1. The scholarship is for entry into Cardiff University in the autumn semester of 2024/2025. Any requests to defer entry and receipt of the scholarship will need to be done via direct discussion with the school via MBA-Enquiries@cardiff.ac.uk
  1. Applicants who are in receipt of the MBA Public Value scholarships are not eligible for any other University bursaries or scholarships.
  1. For our full-time programmes, only self-funding international and home fee status students are eligible. The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local Government, charities or private organisations. Applicants to the part-time MBA who may receive financial support from their employers are eligible for a scholarship. The £7500 discount will be split evenly across the two years of study.
  1. If you are an international student, you must satisfy all financial requirements as part of your visa application for study in the UK. You should not be solely relying on receiving the Cardiff University MBA Public Value Scholarship to meet the UKVI financial requirements. Please see UKVI financial requirements for visa applications for further information.
  1. Please ensure that you have left sufficient time for your application and supporting documents to be reviewed and processed before the acceptance deadline noted above. This can take up to 10 working days. Please contact the Admissions Office should you have any problems submitting your application or documents.
