Cancer Biology Summer School
The Cancer Biology Summer School is designed to provide you with an overview of a variety of topics around the rapidly advancing field of Cancer Biology through a series of lectures and workshops delivered by leading experts in the field.
The Biomedicine and Human Disease, Cancer Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology and Stem Cell Engineering Summer Schools will run from Saturday 11 July 2020 – Saturday 25 July 2020.
In this course you would be introduced to numerous topics around the rapidly advancing field of cancer biology. You will sample aspects of the curriculum from one of the UK’s top ranked School of Pharmacy and Pharmacological Sciences.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn about the cellular aspects of cancer biology, disease development and progression. You’ll also learn about strategies in cancer therapeutics encompassing bioinformatics as well as cancer drug design. There will also be an opportunity to learn about some of the University’s ground breaking research.
You will be taught by our team of world-leading academic and research staff who have an extensive range of expertise. In fact, we were ranked joint first School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences in the most recent Research Excellence Framework. This is a direct result of the quality of our teaching, and the cutting-edge nature of our research projects.

The fee for the Summer School is £1,995.
This includes tuition fees, accommodation (14 nights), 10 meals per week (Breakfast and lunch Monday – Friday), airport pick up and drop off from London Heathrow Airport on fixed dates (pick up is on 11 July and drop off is 25 July) and excursions organised by Cardiff University (such as Tenby and the Big Pit).
This is a non-credit bearing summer school.
In addition to a valuable learning experience, you will embark on two cultural trips within Wales.
