Robotics and Manufacturing Informatics Summer School

This course has now closed for 2019 entry. Please contact for further enquiries.

Our summer school offers advanced undergraduates and recent graduates the opportunity to develop their knowledge of advanced robotics and manufacturing informatics and gain first-hand experience of laboratory work and industrial application.

You will be able to work with world-leading research and academic staff from in the School of Engineering's high-quality facilities, located in the multi-million-pound Queen’s Buildings complex.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in a workshop using advanced state-of-the-art robotic facilities to gain hands-on experience in robot control using ROS (Robot Operating Systems) and obtain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience of harnessing advanced data analytics in manufacturing informatics.

In addition to a fantastic learning experience, our Robotics and Manufacturing Informatics Summer School includes accommodation in the centre of the city, two cultural trips in cities across the UK and entertaining social events in our vibrant Welsh capital. Our Summer School will give you the chance to immerse yourself in the British culture and travel around the UK with new friends from all across the world.
