Psychology Summer School
This summer school will cover a wide range of fascinating topics such as forensic psychology, developmental disorders, attitudes, visual illusions, brain imaging, all with the help of expert teaching faculty at Cardiff University.
This Summer School is now closed for 2019 applications.
The School of Psychology is one of the UK’s largest centres for psychology and is long established, well resourced with an excellent international reputation. We are currently ranked in the top 40 global psychology schools in the 2018 QS World University Rankings.
On this summer school you will get the chance to experience some of the teaching and research that is undertaken by our world class academics. This course is designed to build on your knowledge in core areas with short, focused teaching sessions in specialised areas where there is expertise at Cardiff. The summer school will therefore advance your existing knowledge with the most up-to-date research.
We have chosen the topics to develop your practical knowledge as well as the theoretical. The classes have hands-on elements, such as the behaviour change workshops, and eye-tracking and emotion sessions. Classes will take place at our international centres of excellence, including Cardiff University’s Brain and Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) and Cardiff University’s Centre for Human and Developmental Science (CUCHDS). Visiting these facilities will give you a taste of doing cutting age research in Psychology.
