The lectures and workshops in this summer school will introduce you to numerous topics around cancer biology.

This Summer School is now closed for 2019 applications.

The cancer biology summer school is hosted jointly by the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the School of Biosciences.

In this course you would be sampling the pharmacy undergraduate curriculum in one of UK’s best schools of pharmacy and pharmacological sciences.

The lectures and workshops will be delivered by our cancer experts with topics focused on:

  • cancer cell biology
  • cancer drug design
  • the biological basis of metastasis
  • strategies in anti-cancer therapeutics
  • bioinformatics
  • the current research activities in these areas at Cardiff University.
