Charlotte plays a key role in ensuring renewable energy and infrastructure developments across the UK are delivered sustainably. From assessing environmental impacts to supporting biodiversity and low-carbon solutions, her work has a direct impact on tackling climate change.
Career journey
Charlotte transitioned from biosciences to sustainability during her degree, then went on to study a master’s and gain hands-on experience. A placement during her MSc opened the door to her current role, and she’s since progressed quickly.

Academic foundations

At RSK Environment, Charlotte leads Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring environmental protection, social equity, and economic viability are balanced in every design.
Hands-on impact across Wales
Working closely with project teams and statutory consultees, Charlotte produces both technical reports and accessible public summaries. She also supports on-site environmental management, helping to drive Wales’ contribution to the UK’s low-carbon energy transition.

Described by RSK as a “sustainability champion”, Charlotte is recognised for her ability to translate policy shifts into practical, on-the-ground solutions – advising on climate resilience, biodiversity net gain, and low-impact construction.
