Masters in Educational Practice
The MEP programme focuses on improving newly-qualified teachers' classroom practice and developing their leadership in schools.
Its underpinning philosophy is based on a recognition of the importance, and difficulty, of the transition newly qualified teachers (NQTs) have to make from being student teachers to teacher leaders.
It sets out to support and enhance the professional learning opportunities provided by schools and local authorities.
The Masters in Educational Practice is delivered regionally across Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government, by an alliance of Cardiff, Aberystwyth and Bangor universities, and the Institute of Education, University of London.
The programme is supported by a network of experienced teacher-mentors. The Masters in Educational Practice is a Cardiff University award.
Please note the Masters in Educational Practice is no longer open to new students.
