Overview

My research interests are in Shakespeare studies in all its many facets, from texts to stage to film.

Biography

I took my BA and PhD at Nottingham. I joined Cardiff University in 1973 and quickly became involved in student welfare and practices of teaching.

With my colleague Dr John Peck I undertook the editing over twenty years of a series of books for Palgrave Macmillan, including the New Casebooks series, as well as publications designed to improve student writing.
