Overview

I currently work as a postdoctoral research associate at Cardiff University’s Gas Turbine Research Centre on the WEFO FLEXIS project, evaluating the combustion of low-carbon fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia for power generation and aviation, developing new projects with UK and international academic and industrial partners, liaising with gas turbine manufacturers and users, disseminating research findings in various formats, engaging with the wider community as a STEM ambassador, and contributing to undergraduate and graduate level education in the university.  Previous projects include Co-Investigator on a Renishaw-Cardiff University Strategic Partnership project (£35k) evaluating additive manufacturing for gas turbine combustion, postdoctoral research associate on the EPSRC Advanced Gas Turbine Cycles project (EP/M015300/1) with Imperial College and funded PhD through the EPSRC Flex-E-Plant project (EP/K021095/1).
