Dr Quaquan Han is a Project Officer (Research Associate) within the Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies (ASTUTE) Centre. Dr Han received his PhD at Cardiff University in the area of metal additive manufacturing in 2017, and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Shandong University, China, in 2014. His research intertests focus primarily on metal additive manufacturing related simulation, advanced metal matrix nanocomposites and hot cracking elimination in nickel based superalloys. Based on his research, Dr Han has published more than 10 peer reviewed journal papers (first and/or corresponding author) in the past five years.
