I am both an institute technician and a research technician, working for both Dr Toby Phesse and Mark Bishop.  As a research technician I am exploring the role the receptor frizzled 7 plays in cholangiocarcinoma, otherwise known as bile duct cancer. Current treatment for cholangiocarcinoma is extremely limited with poor survival rates, thus it is essential to explore if therapeutically targeting frizzled 7 would lead to novel successful treatment options for cholangiocarcinoma.
