Overview
I currently work as a Research Assistant on the following RCT: Pragmatic RAndomised controlled trial of a Trauma-Focused Guided Self Help Programme versus InDividual Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (RAPID)
I work with the Traumatic Stress Research Group, Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences, and I'm currently undertaking a PhD in this field, with supervision from Professor Jonathan I Bisson and Dr Catrin Lewis.
Following undergraduate studies in Psychology at Cardiff University (2002), I've worked for a number of years at various research funding organisations including the Wellcome Trust and the Stroke Association.
My most recent role before current employment was as Health and Care Research Wales Public Involvement and Engagement Manager, and I also recently worked as an Honorary Pschology Support Worker at Cardiff & Vale UHB, with Department of Psychology and Counselling.
