My research interests focus on public management and organizational performance, with a particular focus on cross-sector partnerships and the local public sector.

I have published widely in refereed journals including: Strategic Management Journal, Human Relations, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory and Public Administration Review. I am co-author of Strategic Management and Public Service Performance (Palgrave, 2011) and Public Service Efficiency: Reframing the Debate (Routledge, 2013).
