Overview

Dr Mirella Yani-de-Soriano is Reader in Marketing at Cardiff Business School. She is currently the Business Management Pathway Convenor for the Social Science Research Methods MSc.

Mirella held management and consultancy roles at international corporations, such as The Gillette Company, before joining academia. Her research promotes positive social impact by addressing global health and well-being issues through transformative consumer research.

Her main research interests include cross-cultural consumer behaviour, emotions in consumption and retail environments, and online (addiction) consumer behaviour. She has published in leading journals, including the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Psychology & Marketing, and Computers in Human Behavior.
