My research explores the implications of advanced manufacturing and information technologies for modern Operations Management. As a Chartered Engineer with commercial experience in a range of specialist manufacturing industries, I am keen to integrate both research and practise into my teaching and supervision activities. I have lectured on a variety of Operations Management topics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and am a supervisor to PhD, MSc, and MBA students on a range of Operations and Supply Chain Management themes.

I am a member of the Logistics and Operations Management Section, and the Logistics Systems Dynamic Group. I am a frequent reviewer for journals and international conferences in the areas of manufacturing and operations management.
