Overview

I am a lecturer in Structural Health Monitoring within Cardiff University's Mechanical and Structural Performance Group ,my research interests include damage detection and location in metallic and composite structures using Acoustic Emission and Acousto-ultrasonics and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for aerospace applications. My research is industrially focused and I have worked with Airbus, BAE systems, Boeing, MOD, MBDA, Ultra Electronics and TWI. My future research interests include the use of audible acoustics for damage detection in structures.
