I am a lecturer in mechanical engineering, specialised in signal processing for structural health monitoring.I have a strong experience in data acquisition, signal processing, non destructive evaluation and mechanical systems modelling and design.

My main research activity deals with Structural Health Monitoring of engineering structures, with a particular attention to sensor systems and signal processing with traditional and artificial intelligence techniques. My research interests are in the areas of techniques for data reduction for Structural Health Monitoring data, and on energy harvesting systems for aerospace applications.

I am a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and part of Cardiff University's Mechanical and Structural Performance Group.
