Overview

James Hyde is Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff Dental School. 
He obtained his BDS (2012) from the University of Liverpool. 
He initially worked in primary care as an associated dentist on the Wirral Peninsula.
During this time he passed his membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. 
He completed his Bachelor of Laws (2017) from the Open University. 
In 2020 he was appointed as an Academic Clinical Fellow Dental Core Trainee. He held posts at Aintree University Hospital Reginal Head and Neck Department and Alder Hey Paediatric Hospital.
In 2021 he was made a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
