Overview

I am a lecturer in biomedicine within the Division of infection and immunity based in the Centre for Medical Education in the School of Medicine.

My teaching focus is currently infection and immunity following several years teaching Anatomy, Forensic Anthropology, Microbiology,   Cell Biology and Clinical Research Methodology.

I am s member of the Phase 1 & 2 team where I teach on the MBBCh programme, the BSc Medical Pharmacology and the Intercalated BSc Medical Pharmacology and Molecular and Cellular Pathology programmes.

I am a CBL facilitator, PCS tutor and SSC tutor for Phase 1 & 2

Research

My Research interests include human anatomy, osteology and bioarchaeology, and forensic taphonomy.

Currently, this research is focused on establishing a better understanding of the spatial chemistry of human burials from a forensic, archaeological and ecological perspective.

I also continue my research interests in global/public health, spatial epidemiology and medical education.
