I am a Research Assistant based in the Cancer Screening, Prevention, and Early Diagnosis (SPED) team within the Division of Population Medicine, School of Medicine, Cardiff University.
With a background in public health, my research interests include understanding and improving behavioural measures to prevent and manage chronic conditions at a community scale. I'm currently working with the Yorkshire Enhanced Stop Smoking (YESS) study.
- Exploring perceptions and attitudes of the public towards community-based behavioural interventions for chronic conditions and associated risks.
- Examining effectiveness and acceptibility of interventions in promoting behavioural changes
- Process evaluation of the Yorkshire Enhanced Stop Smoking (YESS) trial: testing the effect of adding a personalised smoking cessation intervention to a lung cancer screening programme.
