Biography

I began my career with a PhD in the history of education at the University of Manchester and subsequently the National Foundation for Educational Research. I’ve been at Cardiff University since the mid-2000s in a number of different roles allied to education development, loving the opportunities to work across disciplines and spin-up exciting projects. I set up the CUROP programme, led the University’s first massive open online courses, have supported 10+ staff to gain National Teaching Fellowships and have led teams across digital education and curriculum design. I became a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2021.
