Role responsibilities

I am a Learning Technologist and currently work as a Digital Education partner for the Business School at Cardiff Academy of Learning and Teaching. I work with academic colleagues and support them in their pedagogical use of technology for teaching and learning design to provide their students with the best possible online learning experience. I also support and advise Professional Services staff on the use of Central Learning and mentor and support other members of the Digital Education team.

Biography

I started working as a Learning Technologist for the University of Glamorgan in 2001 before joining Cardiff University where I work under different job titles but have been all involved in Technology Aided Learning for over 15 years. First for the Zero Waste Enterprise Research Centre (LERC) in 2007 and then for Cardiff Business School as an Innovative Technology Officer in 2011, before moving to the Digital Education department at Cardiff Academy of Learning and Teaching (DA Academy).

I have also taught Graphic and Web design to undergraduates, Art and Design to adult learners and adult learners with physical impairments.
