I head-up the admin-side of operations at the National Software Academy (NSA), managing the ‘student lifecycle’ for the students of the NSA and supporting the staff and lecturers at the NSA. My varied role is to ensure the coordination and smooth running of the BSc Applied Software Engineering programme. It is my job to make sure the programme integrates efficiently with existing processes in the School of Computer Science and Informatics. I take care of everything from student queries and processes, to event coordination and management, and progressing curriculum developments.
I graduated with an upper second in BA(Hons) Product Design, have a PGDip in Rapid Product Development, and an MA in Creative Digital Media. I’ve also run my own business, worked in many different environments, including car rental, mortgage consultancy, and Cardiff University Business School’s quality-department.
In my leisure time I’m a cyclist and love hiking Pen-Y-Fan in the snow, or Snowdon on a clear day! I would much rather be on a West Wales beach, than a city centre!
My typical working hours are generally between 8:30am-4:30pm
