Overview

I am currently on secondment as Project Manager for the relocation of the National Software Academy (NSA) from its home in the Information Station in Newport to space within the University campus in Cardiff.  The NSA is due to relocate by the end of August 2023.  Given the tight timeframe, there is much to manage, coordinate and arrange by then.

This position will give me opportunity to develop my Project Management skills I obtained in recent training, where I successfully obtained the AgilePM Project Management Practitioner professional qualification.

I have also been successfully nominated for and won an award in the 2022 Outstanding Contribution Award Scheme.  The Panel recognised and appreciated the exceptional level of my contribution and has awarded me an Outstanding Contribution One-off Award, which I was very overwhelmed, pleased and proud to receive.

As part of my role I also manage the back-end process of the COMSC student engagement system, I designed and coordinate the COMSC laptop provision for students and manage logistics and operations at the National Software Academy.
