Overview

Hamidreza Faham (Hamid Reza Fahham) is presently the Research Assistant in Centre for Integrated Energy Generation and Supply (CIREGS) Group from September 2019.

Hamid obtained his PhD from Shiraz University, Iran (2009), MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Iran (2002) and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran (2000). Hamid was working as assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering in Marvdasht Islamic Azad University (MIAU) from 2009 to 2018. He was working as instructor of Mechanical Engineering in MIAU between 2003-2009. He has received the best Scientist Research Award of School of Engineering from MIAU in 2011.

Hamid was Dean of the Sama College at Marvdasht Islamic Azad University (MIAU) from 2012-2018. During his tenure as dean he added five new degree programs, and more than doubled the number of students. He has been the supervisor of several MSc and PhD thesis of Mechanical Engineering in MIAU.

His main research interests are in dynamics, simulation, robotics, mechatronics, and optimization. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 technical articles, 6 research projects, and one book. Hamid has collected a good knowledge of using CAD/CAE/FEA software of Mechanical Engineering. His current research includes simulation modelling in Ansys-Fluent of Energy Storage System with Phase Change Material.
