I am a Lecturer in the Management, Employment, and Organisation section, and the Director of Online Learning for Cardiff Business School.

My research is highly interdisciplinary. I am published across philosophy (ethics, epistemology, and ontology), heterodox economics, business ethics, gender studies, and social psychology.

I completed my BA (Hons) in Women’s Studies at Lancaster University, and hold an MPhil and PhD in Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge, where I was Cambridge Political Economy Society Trust Scholar (2012-2016).

I am an Honorary Research Associate at the Centre for Business Research, Judge Business School, Cambridge, and a Senior Member of Newnham College, Cambridge.

Prior to academia, I pursued a career in industry between undergraduate and postgraduate studies, in sectors including media, publishing, and supply chain management. This career brought me into direct contact with organisational ethics, including corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and relatedly with organisational culture issues regarding gender, leadership and management in the workplace.

I am module leader and teacher of Organisational Behaviour (BST612) on the Executive MBA programme

My research focusses on organisational ethics, including fiduciary duty, trust, and power in organisations, and includes ethics in finance. I am interested in epistemic virtues and vices in organisational contexts, and how certain economic interpretations of key concepts affect organisational behaviour.

I am a member of the Cambridge Social Ontology Group (

A monograph, Care Ethics, Social Responsibility & Organizations has been commissioned by Palgrave Macmillan for publication in 2021.
