Gavin Johnson

Overview

Gavin’s career has spanned 3rd sectors through to creative industries, including roles at Ffilm Cymru Wales and Literature Wales. Over the last 10 to 15 years Gavin has work with music festivals, artists of all disciplines and creative partitioners. That work has mainly focused on funding, strategic planning, research and development and audience exploration. Throughout that journey I've helped to raise around £4million and produced outcomes with a global reach.  

With Clwstwr and now MediaCyrmu Gavin is an acting Producer that supports the wide variety of creatives within the portfolio and leads specific thematic areas. Alongside his work within the university, he works closely with Glastonbury Festival with a focus on sustainability, new installations and supporting several creatives associated with the festival.
