Research Associate
Glaciology and Communications Engineering

School of Earth and Ocean Sciences

I'm an electronic engineer by background, and my research interests relate to the development of new instruments for collecting data from the field, particularly in glaciology. I'm currently working on the Cryoegg project with Liz Bagshaw. Cryoegg is a wireless probe for making measurements of conditions underneath glaciers - you can read more about it in this BBC News story or download a recent conference presentation about it from EGU.
