Overview

Research Overview

My primary research interests concern the biosynthesis of menthol in the genus Mentha. Using the knowledge of the menthol biosynthesis pathway in Mentha spp. my work aims to increase the overall essential oil yield, and to improve the composition through downregulation of undesirable side products.
