Overview
Kate Simpson graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Genetics. She received her PhD at Cardiff University in Cancer Genetics and then moved to a postdoctoral post at the Wales Kidney Research Unit investigating urinary microRNAs as potential biomarkers in CKD. She now has a tenured post at Cardiff University as a Senior Technician within the Institute of Nephrology.
