Teaching

I teach courses on comparative (or, to use a problematic term, "non-Western") political theory, as well as interdisciplinary courses on specific themes including race and political ecology.

Courses I convene & teach:

The Barbarians Are Coming!: Cross-Cultural Political Theory

Radical Political Theory

Courses I co-teach :

Introduction to Political Theory

Crisis and Commitment in the 20th Century

I work on political theory, and I am interested in decolonial thought - broadly construed to include work on the postcolony, race, and nondominant political ecologies - , Daoism, and the writing of Enlightenment philosopher Benedict Spinoza.

Supervision

I'm happy to supervise work in decolonial/postcolonial theory, political ecology, politics and philosophy of race, comparative political theory, and Spinoza.

Do feel free to contact me about your research interests.
