I work as the Engagement Manager for Children, young people, parents and carers at CASCADE, the Children’s Social Care Research and Development centre.

I provide advice, guidance, and support to involve children, young people, parents and carers within the Centre’s research portfolio. I manage the Public Involvement team, lead our Public Involvement groups at CASCADE and work across a range of projects. Our core groups include the strategic Involvement Board and our established research advisory groups CASCADE Voices and CASCADE Parents Research Advisory group.

I work across a range of projects at CASCADE and wider - supporting public involvement and working creatively with children, young people and parents.

HCRW Infrastructure Grant, 2019 – 2022/2024 

Leading on the development of our Public Involvement plans across CASCADE, focusing on key priority areas children; young people; parents with experience of children’s social care; wider parents and carers.

UKRI / TRIUMPH Network, 2020-2021 

Co-production or adaptation of online interventions for foster care: Promoting the mental health and wellbeing of care-experienced children and young people. Specific support for peer researcher opportunity and interviews with young people. (with Evans, R. Mannay, D. Stabler, L.)

ESRC IAA 2021- 2022 

Supporting Parents in and Leaving Care: #MessagesToCorporateParents. Co-production of good practice charter involving care experienced young people, policy makers, professionals and academics (with Roberts, L. and Mannay, D.)
