I am working as a Research Assistant on the Wellcome Strategic Award recruiting 170 healthy participants for the WAND (Welsh Advanced Neuroimaging Database) study. The project aims to develop our understanding of how brain systems (chemical, electrical, structural and metabolic) interact with each other and how this influences brain behaviour and function. This will be achieved using the state of the art facilities at CUBRIC.
2018: BSc in Psychology with Professional Placement (First Class Honours) at Cardiff University.
I am currently researching multi-scale and multi-modal assessment of coupling in the healthy and diseased brain. Participants will undergo magnetoencephalography (MEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cognitive testing and genotyping. Additionally, some participants will have a positron emission tomography (PET) scan and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
