Research Assistant, CASCADE
I have over 10 years of experience as a practitioner in Youth Work and specialist support for young people experiencing social, emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Having recently completed a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, I have taken a post as a research assistant at the Cardiff University CASCADE Research Centre, as a part of the What Works for Children's Social Care Programme.
Laura holds guest lectures at the University of South Wales on youth participation in research.
Laura's research interests include developing youth friendly mental health services and interventions through Qualitative Social Research and examining Social Policy.
