Dr Catherine Kazmi

Overview

I am a qualitative researcher with experience in health services and community-based exploratory research. I have a BSc Anthropology (1999) from University College London (UCL) and an MSc Health Promotion Sciences (2002) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). My PhD at UCL (2015), funded by a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) doctoral training fellowship, explored the social and cultural influences on the relationships and sexual behaviour of young Pakistanis in the UK.

I am currently working with Professor Jane Hopkinson on an investigation to inform the content of a web-based resource to help people with cancer self-manage eating difficulties during Chemotherapy and/or Immunotherapy (systemic anti-cancer) treatment.
