Professor Brown's interests are mainly focused on the use of analytic and computational methods to get a better understanding of spectral problems generated by differential equation. Recently he has become interested in inverse problems, especially inverse spectral problems and in questions of uniqueness and recovery that involve the Dirichlet to Neumann map.
