Biography

I was born in Cardiff, and raised in Swansea, South Wales. I attended Coventry Univeristy for my undergraduate physiotherapy degree and graduated in 2012. Since then I have worked for the NHS, and then as a physiotherapist within professional/international rugby. I went on to complete my MSc in Sports and Exercise medicine in 2016. I secured a lecturing role with Cardiff Univeristy in 2018 part-time, and still work clinically.

Clinically, I work within private physiotherapy practice treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries and work with individuals who have suffered traumatic spinal injuries. I also consult as a physiotherapist at semi-professional and professional level rugby within Wales.

Part of my role at Cardiff is looking after the welsh language provision on the undergraduate physiotherapy course in conjunction with the 'Coleg Cymraeg' where we support students who wish to complete part of their studies and placements in their first language of Welsh.
