Overview

I came to Cardiff University in 2017 and have been involved with teaching Chinese language modules. I also serve as an Exam Officer (2019-2022) and Year Abroad Coordinator (2023-) for the Chinese programmes.

 

Teaching

I have designed and participated in teaching a range of undergraduate language modules for the BA Modern Chinese and BA Chinese programmes, including: 

-- ML1190 Advanced Mandarin Chinese Language Y1

-- ML1193 Mandarin Chinese Language Beginners Y1

-- ML1196 Life in China

-- ML1270 Mandarin Chinese Language Intermediate Y2

I have previously contributed to the teaching of ML8100 Introduction to Translation Methods (Chinese Seminars) 

 

Biography

I hold a MSc in TESOL from the University of Bristol, and a BA joint degree in Foreign Language Instrcution and Teaching Chinese as a Second Language in Taiwan. 

I am also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
