Overview
Based within the CASCADE Communications Team, I am an Events and Communications Support Officer. Primarily, I co-ordinate the events and communications for the ExChange Wales programme and network, which brings together leading researchers with practitioners and service users to share expertise, research evidence and care experiences. The programme is funded by Welsh Goverment through Health and Care Research Wales.
I also work with Professional Services Team colleagues on CASCADE communications, team events and administrative support for the Research Centre.
Biography
My career pathway prior to joining CASCADE Research Centre included roles in community development, policy and research, funding, campaigns and strategic partnerships. I have worked in public sector, local government and voluntary sector organisations.
Facilitation of effective events, communication and partcipation have always been at the core of my work and interests. I am passionate about the work of CASCADE and enjoy running events that can make a difference in the social care sector.
