Overview

Ruba Kendassa gained her Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) 2017. During her studies she has focussed on human experience with built environments and user-centred design. Prior to that, she graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah (KSA) in 2013.


She worked as a teaching assistant in SCAD, participated in studio tutoring and contributed in teaching fundamental of interior design course. After that has been working as a lecturer at Jeddah University teaching various design studios.


Regarding honours, in 2017 she earned a SCAD award for her ‘Outstanding M.F.A Thesis Project’ and an award from the Institute for Patient-Centered Design for her ‘outstanding healthcare thesis interior design’ in the United States.
