Overview
I am a postgraduate research student based in CUBRIC. The main aim of my research is to provide a comprehensive microstructure-characterisation of prostate using efficient diffusion-relaxometry MRI framework with ultra-strong gradients. My research combines computational modelling, physics and mathematics to better understand the structural changes in biological tissue in health and disease. The project is a collaboration of Cardiff University with Siemens Healthineers.
Undergraduate Education
BSc in Biomedical Engineering, AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków, Poland
Postgraduate Education
MSc in Biomedical Engineering, major: Computer science and medical electronics, AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków, Poland
Previous employment and research
Modality-general and modality-specific brain plasticity during second language acquisition - white matter plasticity in longitudinal design, Laboratory of Brain Imaging, Nencki Institute, PAS, Warsaw, Poland
Single shell Q-space biomarkers in diffusion MRI of the brain, ETS Ingenieros de Telecomunicacón, Universidad de Valladolid, Spain
