Overview
Ammar Alammar received his master’s degree in architecture as a professional degree from NewSchool of Architecture and Design, USA in 2015. He also, received his Bachelor’s degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia in 2010. Ammar was working as a lecturer in King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Before that, he worked for several architectural firms in Riyadh, SA. Through this experiences, Arch Ammar gained various skills that helped him to become an expert in this filed. His PhD research thesis is entitled, ‘Predicting the Performance of Adaptive Façade using Machine Learning’, under Dr Wassim Jabi supervision. Besides that, Ammar work as a part-time tutor at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University (WAS). His research interests include computational methods in architecture, building performance simulation, and machine learning in architecture.
