Thesis

Lean and innovative work behavior for building sustainable CI organizations (working title)

Innovation is important for organizations in order to sustain the competitiveness of the business. As innovation is sparked through the involvement of staff members, it becomes relevant to develop an understanding how innovative work behavior (IWB) evolves. Accordingly, my research project aims (1) to understand the organizational factors and conditions that promote IWB within individuals, (2) to investigate the role of middle managers in accelerating IWB adoption and (3) to identify how IWB is managed and sustained in the long-term.
