Arbab Khalid Cheema
I am a PhD student at Cardiff Business School in the Accounting and Finance Section. I hold Master of Philosophy in Commerce and MBA (Finance Specialization) degrees from my home country Pakistan. I have had taught finance subjects like Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Corporate Finance and Risk Management to graduate students as a lecturer in a university.
In addition, I am also a stock market investor and have undertaken consultancy projects in investment banking. In line with my academic and work experience, my research interests are mainly in Asset Pricing and Behavioral Finance.
Currently, my research is on seasonalities in stock return synchronicity, and the impact of investors' attention to macroecnomic or firm-specfic news on synchronicity.
As a hobby, I love to read military history.
