I am a postgraduate research student based in CUBRIC. My research involves studying human volition and decision making using a multimodal approach that combines neuroimaging methods with cognitive modelling.

Awarded ‘Diamond Grant’ grant for young researchers (2015-2017)

Awarded with the stipend from Polish Ministry of Education for outstanding scientific achievements (2014 2015, 2016)

Research interests

I am interested in the brain mechanisms of decision making and voluntary behaviour. In my research, I combine behavioural and neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG, MEG) with causal models of cognition. This approach allows for richer understanding of overt behaviour (such as choosing between two items), by taking into account internal cognitive processes that drive the action, as well as their neural underpinnings.
