My interests concern psychological and social dimensions of environmental issues. Specifically, my research focuses on public awareness and engagement with the negative health and environmental impacts associated with meat consumption/production. I am interested in the motives driving meat consumption and ways of encouraging people to reduce their meat intake, utilizing theories of behaviour change. I am also interested in whether interventions aimed at reducing meat consumption might lead to engagement in other pro-environmental behaviours via behavioural spillover.
